So I have chickens. Haven't been to the doc yet to ask but are we aloud to eat fresh eggs?

@nk2510 main thing is do not wash that coating off if you are going to keep them out. It keeps bacteria from entering the shell.

@nk2510 ours don't last that long because we use them almost dialy, but they will stay good for about a month.

@sixplus1, how long do they last outside the fridge?

@nk2510 we don't clean ours unless they are just nasty poop covered, then I just wipe them off with a dry cloth. That way I don't wipe the protective coating off and they last longer. We don't put ours in the fridge so leaving the coating on keeps them protected from bacteria.
