38 week appointment was today and my doctor asked if I wanted to be induced!!!!! After I said "hell yeah!" He checked to see how dilated I was and I was still completely closed. He said that I have to be at least be "ripe" in order to set an induction date!😒 Long story short, I have to get checked again next week😟
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.
i hope i have my baby this week...or in a couple of years...if he wants to come out...it's whatever he wants 😓
Yesterday my boyfriend said he vomited 3 times yesterday and he been having cravings and sleeping more than usual and today he said he is having back pain is that a sign of me being pregnant?

I did induction and really wish I didn't... Not being mean just really do your research, I really wish I would have 😢

@zachattackmomma I've never had to do it. With my daughter, I went for a 3 minute walk (to get ice cream) and I was in labor that same night. I was only 34 weeks though. I'm simply over being pregnant this time! What went wrong for you?

@tahtahme everyone says that! Lol but he has been causing me pain since I was about 4 months pregnant. He sits so darn low and his movements are VIOLENT now😂

Induction started Wed morning and wound up in a c section on Saturday late afternoon because my son was cord tied and his heart stopped... Longest 3 1/2 days of my life and so scary 😢 hope you have a VERY smooth and easy pregnancy!

@nkinsey It is possible, Drs do a lot of unnecessary stuff just so they feel more in control! I am glad your baby turned out ok...I had a csection for one of my twins mostly due to Dr impatience and wanting to interfere every 2 seconds.

I remember how relieved my pelvis was after the birth. I was SO happy to not have the pressure...my son was RIGHT on my pelvis the whole time ir was such a relief when he was out!

@nkinsey Yes it sucks to not get your doctor, thats why I was glad to have a doula. I labored 3 days in the hospital before I had my son. Everything was perfectly fine, they panicked after my son for no reason because my daughter was still fine. They only gave me like 10min on my back to labor with her then started panicking she was breech, etc. Smdh it was the worst. I am having my next ones at home, twins or whatever idgaf, I will hire a midwife and be done with it, the Drs were incompetent for me 😒 And this was at 40w after they had been trying to induce me since 37w for NO MEDICAL REASON. Smdh Anyway, not all Drs are incompetent but just 1 who is scared of natural birth will ruin everything!

Not everyone has a bad experience with induction. I was induced with my first it was literally amazing. Only in labor for 6 hours! 😊
