Usually they can't tell you are pregnant until 6w. Did they use an internal ultrasound or a belly one. The belly ones won't really pick up on the baby yet. The ones that go in will be able to see much better. A faint line is nothing to worry about, spotting can happen quite often and still be normal. Try not to stress because it can cause problems for the baby.

@kami24706, he did a belly ultrasound. It's definitely super early. When I was pregnant with my son, my first doctors appointment was when I was about 10-12 weeks. So we got to hear his heart and everything. I'm trying not to stress, I know things will work out. It's just when he told me to just remember the possible difficulties it made me feel less hopeful. But I'm trying to stay positive! 😊

@kcamps they should not be allowed to say things like that if they are not positive. My Drs. Office is Wellness for Women by Abrazo Scottsdale Hospital also known as Paradise Valley Hospital. They or even hospitals themselves should be able to use a vaginal ultrasound to check the baby if you would like. :) but waiting until you are further along should help with there ultrasound. I also heard drinking plenty of water before a belly ultrasound will help them find the baby better.

You cannot see a baby on a ultrasound untill your HCG are over 10,000. Dumb dr should know that.
