So I had a period when my baby was about 7 weeks old and then very light spotting for a day that month right around the time when I ovulated, I should technically be coming up on my next period but I am breastfeeding. I know breastfeeding can keep your period away but it obviously didn't for me so I guess my question is now that it's started should it be fairly regular each month or will it maybe not show up sometimes? Like is it still super irregular if I'm breastfeeding? If so, how do I know if I need to test for pregnancy? I never breastfed my first 2 this long so I don't know!

I became very irregular for a long time when I was breastfeeding. Doctor said it was my hormones n it is normal in some women. I was always hungry or always tired but got thru it till I got pregnant again(eyes roll) smh

In my case I bled for 3 weeks after delivery then had a period when she was 2 1/2 months old. Then I missed one. Then the next one came late and I missed today. Who knows when it'll be. Mine hasn't been regular since delivery. I'm still breastfeeding
