My son goes into his cot bed next week and I'm trying to find a decent cot mobile or soother/projector. Looking all online and can't find anything! A part of me is wondering whether one is needed at all... So any recommendations? Advice? Experiences?

I have a fisher price butterfly dreams one think it was like 20/30 quid from mothercare and its fantastic, you may find one cheaper from like argos or asda but the grandparents got mine. It plays music, nature and white noise or just the projector thats has stars and the spinning teds. It also has a remote so if your busy or cba getting out of bed it has a good range too. Izzy loves hers for bed and it entertains her if im busy and need to keep her safe haha

Neither of my boys have had any interest in a mobile. I find the bright musical ones are just too distracting. Their meant to be sleeping so I try to keep it simple. They both have a soft toy that projects stars onto the walls/ ceiling that they like. Morgan has a frog one which has lasted well. They do it in a bee and elephant too I think. It does play heartbeat sounds & lullabies but neither really use that function.

Charlie's always has a mobile in his cot, but he's never paid much interest. Now he's older he just tends to hang from it and pull it apart best he can 🙄 every baby is different though. Maybe hang a few toys on his wall or the ceiling to see if he's interested before you invest in something x
