Cloth diaper momma's give me advice. Kyntons butt is getting really bad and I believe I am ready to try him in cloths. But I still have alot of baby girl stuff to buy and so this is where I need help. Cheap but effective way to get some cloth diapers and prefolds or whatever is needed. How many to start out with? How do you wash, how often and what to do while waiting to have enough to wash? I know to spray in the toilet. But what do you use to wash? How often do you change? How do you keep smells and stains out? I basically need to know everything for a beginner that would only be cloth diapering at home not while out. I might have a few moms with a big enough stash to help me out price wise and what not. But want to know how I'd start Kynton on them.

For your son you need 6-9 for a day, newborns need like 15
Pockets and AIO (all in ones) are the easiest to use. Pockets being the cheaper
However flats or prefolds with covers is the absolute cheapest.

I have enough I only wash 2 x a week, I rinse poopy diapers but pee diapers go straight to laundry. I change every 2 hours. As for stains I lay mine out in the sun to naturally bleach for an hour before putting in dryer or line drying
