So since I knew the exact dates for everything for this pregnancy... My doc said there is no need to do an ultrasound…

My cousin didn't have an ultrasound til she was 20 weeks. They said if there is no pain or bleeding that they assume everything is okay. And she knew her exact conception date. The thing about it is, at her 20 week ultrasound she had found out she was pregnant with triplet girls. Lol

I knew exact dates and had my first sono at 8 weeks .

I had mine done at 6 weeks

@mommyjuly23rd2016 Me too! I had an app called flo! Knew my LMP, the days we had sex and everything but turns out I was a week further than the math! And my doctor knew about all of this and still did a sono.. I'm wondering why your doctor wants to wait?

Cause I had an app that I recorded when I had my period. My ovulation day. And also the days me and my hubby had sex. We did right on ovulation day so they can assume I conceived then. And I knew the exact day of the first day of my last period. @tayler

That is strange!! Also how do they know when you are 20 weeks without making sure and measuring the baby? I gave them a good idea on when I got pregnant when I went for my ultrasound i thought I was 8wks 1 day and I ended up being 9wks and 2 days which wasn't a huge difference but still! I would ask your doctor if he or she could give you a sonogram before then and express your concerns.

@tayler no they did not. I have yet to have an ultrasound and he said I can have one at 20 weeks. Like ok? Wtf

No we couldn't hear my first until about 11 I think

That's crazy they should give your first sono at that time to make sure baby is good wether the heartbeat is present or not. Has any of your previous babies heartbeat started early?

I had an ultrasound my first appointment I was 9wks and 2 days , however I'm almost 15wks now and still haven't heard the heartbeat my drs won't do the Doppler until second trimester. And I got a sonogram at 12 weeks but that's only because I decided to do the down syndrome screening.. won't have another until 20 weeks.. so what your saying is they didn't give you a sonogram at your first appointment?
