Whatever your blood alcohol level is, is how much alcohol is in your milk! So if you were to blow a .10 , there is .10 of alcohol in your milk. If you were to blow a .20 (which could be deadly), there would be .20 of alcohol in your milk, which is about 1/8 of a beer :)

@yamiixx, I don't want to tell you it's safe lol because I'm not a LC or doctor and have no personal experience. But it is true that alcohol leaves your milk at the same rate it leaves your blood. Very small amounts will travel through your milk. If you feel comfortable nursing after one shot, then enjoy your drink.

I stopped drinking n smoking 6 years ago. I don't crave a drink but still crave a cigarette every now and then but don't pick one up.
