So i get how 40 weeks is 9 months of pregnancy cuz not every month is exactly 4 weeks but im confused how its divided. I got pregnant the beginning of may so the last week of September ends up being 20 weeks which is 5 months (may june july aug sep) but im confused how the last 4 months (october, nov, dec, jan ) also ends up being 20 weeks cuz how does the first 5 months equal 20 weeks and the last 4 months equal 20 weeks cuz im due beginning of february.

@s.k.a.m i did may 10 so then the last week of September is 20 weeks then from beginning of october to beginning of feb is also 20 weeks but only 4 months not 5...
@ib.crazyskittles18 because you're not counting the month you stop in the middle of for 20 weeks. For example may 6th- Sept 23 is 20 weeks. So may to Sept is 5 months. Sept 23-Feb 10 is 20 weeks. Sept to Feb is 5 months. Just not full months. Pregnancy is over 9 months.
@s.k.a.m it doesnt matter what day i start counting if i go 40 weeks from any date the first 5 months equals 20 weeks and somehow the last 4 months is also 20 weeks
@ib.crazyskittles18 Some months have 5 Fridays for example. So you'll get five weeks in one month. If you have enough that are short they will add up if you counting from a Friday.
@ib.crazyskittles18 it's hard to help make sense out of it when I don't know what day you're counting from.

@ib.crazyskittles18 it's just depends on how many weeks are in that month. None of them are a perfect 4 week month. Some have 5 Fridays etc so the months won't be equal amounts.
@ib.crazyskittles18 what's an estimate then? They'll ask you at the doctor since that's what they usr rather than date you had sex
@ib.crazyskittles18 Once you see one they'll give you an accurate due date. I'm guessing your confusion comes from going from the date of conception instead of the first day of your last period. The date of conception can be off unless you know the date you ovulated because sperm can live for awhile inside.

@ib.crazyskittles18 have you seen the gyno at all yet or still waiting? Normally the first doctor will tell you but he must have just waited for the gyno

@ib.crazyskittles18 using your current due date that you got from your doctor (in February) how many extra weeks would you have January? 2?
But if you're due in February and an additional 20 only gets you to January?

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though
What should i do i am very confused
Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec
Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
@ib.crazyskittles18 The last stretch some months have extra Wednesdays (5 in one month instead of 4). The first stretch has only one and is short one as well because you can only count 3 in May.
