When you mommas are talking about your "milk coming in" days or even a week after delivery, what does the baby drink until my milk comes in?? Formula??

Colostrum usually. Occasionally some moms or doctors suggest/choose to use formula, but usually colostrum comes in first and then by day 3 or so actual milk comes in. Varies a little for everyone.

My colostrum was a golden yellow. It is very thick and heavy. It will maintain baby until the milk comes in. Like a thick milk, high calorie

No your body makes this kinda pre milk stuff called colostrum. It's really really good for the baby. That's what he or she will get before the milk comes in
