My son who is 6 and a half months old will not sleep in his crib anymore unless he has his blankey. And I know he isn't supposed to have a blanket until he's older so I only let him have it during supervised naps but he won't sleep at night anymore. Any advice??

@mpeterson1517 Maybe look into having his blanket made into a stuffed animal.
My daughter had her blankie at 8 months. Before that she had a blanket she wore to bed.
@karina_n_ryans_mommy, I've tried wearable blankets. He liked them for a little bit then wants nothing to do with it. And I've been taking it away after he falls asleep but he's so stubborn that he falls asleep gripping the blanket so tight with both hands that I wake him up trying to take it away. I'm going to have to figure something out.
I know of a mom who's 7 month old son just died from sleeping w his blanket in the crib .. I wouldn't chance it. Maybe let him fall asleep w it then once he's asleep take the blanket away. Or look into a wearable blanket, they come in all different sizes .. I know babies r us sells them. @mpeterson1517,
I'd let him have his blanket... every mom is different and parents there own way but my son and daughter both slept with a blanket and both of my kids are fine

Saturday at 1AM, lost my mucus plug/bloody show, and I was freaking out! A couple of hours later I had cramping, but felt like BH just a little stronger. They came and went, but felt stronger with each hour. Didn't sleep that whole night! Mine has always napped with small blanket, folded in half. Its one he got from hospital, for swaddling. Tho, never really swaddled but a couple of times and I was never able to get him to sleep on back, in crib.
