I did it. And will do it again!

I'm all for the genetic testing because it tells you about certain abnormalities and also the gender! I'm getting my done tomorrow and than a week or 2 wait for the results

I did, strictly because i wanted to be prepared for anything

@sammeeandbaby than it's pointless to have the test done but if you want to know to be ahead tan go for it.

I wouldn't do it if you know you're going to love the child regardless. It just test that add stress.

I say do it. It doesn't hurt to test.

I'd say do it because there's cases where they can find more than just Down syndrome

I just finished with that roller coaster. All it does is add more stress. I had a 1/190 chance of my baby having it. So we did the second test. That is 2500 dollars and came back normal and she knew my babies gender. I cried for a week. All it does is add stress. If you know that you will love this child no matter what. I say don't get it. I will never put myself through that again.

They can tell if your baby has downs in the ultrasound too based on the fluid under the back.. if it's too thick it could be downs.

Do the cf test they do with it to. Cystic fibrosis.

I regret not getting the test from my expirence just because it's something I wanted to do to be prepared.

Do every test. I hate needles but my dad pushed me to do it since I had to get my blood drawn anyways. It's so nice to know everything you can. Go for it girl!

I wanted one but my doctor makes me feel stupid about it. I still don't think he's ran any testing on her like that tbh

Its just a simple ultrasound+bloodtest so yes I would ☺ best to be prepared just in case of the possibility
