Fuxkfuxkfuxkfuxk I SWEAR DOWN I'M STOPPING BREASTFEEDING. BITING WITH 6 TEETH IS KILLING ME. He does it as he's falling asleep. Like he's slipping off the boob and stays holding on with his teeth. It's become too much. I'm getting to the point of really not enjoying breastfeeding. Thing is it seems silly to buy formula when 2 months later he'll be able to have cows milk. Been trying to get to one year but it's making me feel nauseous and irritated bfing. Urgh. Words of support would be great!

I've no idea if I'm making this up, but is there nothing similar to a nipple shield only with a hole for the milk to flow through? If not patenting it and creating it 😂 biting can't be nice, but if it is too much you've done well breastfeeding this long so don't feel defeated if it comes down to stopping x

Why don't you try expressing hun? I literally weaned my daughter off 2 weeks ago she's 8 months because she kept biting me with her two teeth. And even if it's two months of formula at least you will get a break. I honestly couldn't do it anymore and I wish I'd done it earlier I feel great! It's hard at the beginning I still miss the comfort and bond but the freedom is great at the same time xx

@jo.wilcox no idea! Lol. I don't think I could even introduce something like that at 10 months, he'd probably smack me one for covering his boobies up. Thanks hun, I've bought some formula to try. Let's see if he takes. If so it might be time to quit. At least take a little break before number 2.

@mum2sky You know what I didn't even think of that. At the beginning it was so so hard to express because it was time consuming and I couldn't put him down. But obvs now it's different. I'll have a dig around for my pump again and maybe try that! Tbh I'm a lazy git and watch me not want to sit around pumping myself 😑 Thankyou x

@noshinxoxo, haha they know their boob that's for sure 😂 definitely, it'll be good to have a little break ready for the new baby and he's not going to be missing out in anyway from not having breastmilk. Just hope he takes the formula ok!

@noshinxoxo loool I was the same. Had a medela and everything. Used it a few times. Then stopped. But when I started weaning I started expressing and put cabbage on my boobs to repress the smell. It worked wonders and drained my milk. She hated the expressed milk and wanted the comfort of the breast but when I wasn't giving it to her anymore she took the formula and now she doesn't even look at my boobs at all 😂 just have to be strong hun you can do it xx
