Ok this is weird, but my nipple has a piece in the middle that feels like it needs to be pulled off, like it cracked or something, and it hurts every time he nurses for a few seconds what could this be?

@kambam I think I did but now it hurts worse when he nurses =(

Try soaking your nipple in warm salt water after he nurses, air dry and apply some cream. It might hurt for a while! It was a wound after all.
