I personally, will let my daughter decide that when she's older.

I personally think people should wait until their children are old enough to ask. Just my opinion though.

I wish my mom never did mine. I've had all sorts of weird issues with them and I don't wear earrings anymore, not since I was little.

I waited till mines turned one to do it because with the teething they tend to pull at their ears etc. But I know people who done babies ears at birth and it was fine. But my 1st daughter I got hers at 3months and around 6+ months she would be teething & they ended up coming out and I waited till she was 15+ months an got them redid.

@michelle-, lol I see it as if they are babies they forget the pain afterwards and they don't understand pain either but at the same time I don't want my baby to cry because of pain I created. And in the long run if she doesn't want to wear earrings than she does not have to wear them. I just don't know yet. She will be 4 months old on August 13th

Our baby doc did my daughters at 4 months. My 10 year old told me she wished I would have got hers done when she was a baby. @beverlystory13,

Personally I rather wait but that's just me... even though I got my ears pierced at a young age I rather my daughter choose to get it done or not...
