Sammy jumps on the bed jarring me awake.

“Mommy can I watch YouTube and play Minecraft?!”

I must have unconsciously mumbled some reply resembling yes because when I finally started to come to the TV was on and some extremely weird “show” with Minecraft characters as cartoons acting like a soap opera was on.

It wasn’t even the weirdness of the show that fully woke me up. Nope, it was Sammy allowing Owen to use her to stand and then pushing him off (him laughing in hysterics) that woke me. I stiffly rolled over, (I’m always sore and stiff in the mornings until I finally take my pain meds and get on the heating pad) and put my face in the pillow to try and drown out the chaos happening on my bed. But I started to count down to 5 (thank you Mel Robbins) and started to roll over and face the craziness that was going on...
