We were given a Nest video monitor for the baby's room as a gift from a good friend. We kept putting off setting it up. Friday my husband set it up. Last night our house was robbed (while we were home and sleeping) and the man went into my son's room. The video is now being used as evidence. I have never appreciated a gift so much in my life.

Omg I'm so glad that they caught his ass..that is a very creepy experience I would never wish that to happen to you again or even anyone I dislike..I'm so glad all of yu are ok ..hope the new security system is better and more protective..
I definitely agree. I wouldn't want to stay there either smh.
@chasha2017, He was in his bassinet in our bedroom. We have already begun the process of better security. Also thinking about moving as we've been feeling less and less safe in this neighborhood and this was pretty much the final straw.

@amichelle2, @chasha2017, They actually caught him about 2 hours after we called police. He had broken into a vacant apartment a couple houses down and was hiding there. I'm so relieved but I still feel so creeped out. The man had opened the door to our bedroom and saw us sleeping. I'll never get that thought out of my head.

when did everyone have or are planning to have their babyshowers? at how many weeks/months? How many weeks were you when you set up the nursery and stroler and carseat
i feel like I should have the nursery atleast somewhat set up and set up the stroller, but then my mom says its to early. my babyshower is gunna be a gender reveal so i dont get clothes.

...that we're expecting! ? Tonight we were at dinner with my brother and SIL and they just had a baby 4 weeks ago. She said something about babies and DH replies, with such an attitude, "uh no! Never again, we are done!"
