Can I get a amen on that. I was a SAHM for two and a half years. Now that I work It's still the same thing. @mommiesaremagical14
I feel like any more motherhood seems to be a competition and a mother's value doesn't even exist anymore. Most SAHMs are told we're so lucky and have it so easy and just get to sit around the house all day which is complete poppycock. It's like everyone thinks that once we become a mother that's all we want and need in life that our entire existence is to wipe asses, cook meals and clean up after everybody. We no longer have wants, needs, feelings, thoughts or a voice and all we want is to be stuck behind for walls.
🙌@mommiesaremagical14 that's 100% correct. It's not just social media it's a judgmental. No matter what you do someone, somewhere will have something negative to say.
@masonsmom0609 there's drama on any social media. I think one of the biggest social topics is motherhood. Not parenting but motherhood. Men get props just for being around their kids for 20 minutes but we as mothers get judged a lot on everything we do whether we do one thing or the opposite we get judged you breastfeed you get judge for doing in public but if you bottle feed you could told you're a bad mother for not breastfeeding. If we stay home we have no drive, ambition for life or to be worth something but if we go to work we don't care about our kids, we don't spank our kids means we don't discipline them, we spank our kids we abuse them etc..... The list goes on and on So on a social network that's just for mothers it's inevitable that it's going to happen and it's a real shame we are all being judged and shamed and ridiculed. why can't we work through it together we get it from other people we shouldn't be doing it to each other if we know what it feels like to have it done to us we shouldn't be doing it to other mothers. Unfortunately that's just not the case
@masonsmom0609, yeah. I actually was like telling them not to talk to me like I'm one of their children! Threatening me with a "bann" like OK! You know I still will have a life after this right ??!
@love.torrey they're getting ridiculous. I'm considering deleting this app.
I want to find that simple moms app. I got a message from mom life about me bullying someone. I'm like girl really. Get out of my inbox!
@dazzlingmommy it's called smile mom. I've been on it for 2 years and back in May they told us they were shutting it down on June 30st June 30st came and went and the app is still running but you can no longer find it in the App Store. Or so I thought cuz apparently since the app has been taken out of the App Store we have got a new members. So some people are still finding it somewhere.Lol
@mommiesaremagical14, Completely agree!!! Sometimes I have to hold myself back from posting certain things here!
What's the other mom app that you use?
@mommiesaremagical14 I've met some amazing ladies on here. Bit i completely agree
@mommiesaremagical14 @masonsmom0609 yea this app is getting ridiculous. I use it to vent and share bullshit that I dont care to share with my family and friends. But some days I feel like deleting it.
@mommiesaremagical14 Thank you. It also wasn't like I addressed it towards anyone. It was just in general. 😒
@js_kidsmom I was gonna say. All because she was expressing her opinion? That's ridiculous. On my other mommy app the only times anyone got reported was if they were an obvious fake, a man posing as a women, or anyone that came on saying very inappropriate things especially about children. Basically anyone that was a troll. Anyone can express themselves there. Of course you'll be met with those that don't agree but we don't report because we don't like something someone said.
@mommiesaremagical14 yes, maybe it could have been offensive. But i was simply giving my opinion that many others agree with me on.
@masonsmom0609 It's no problem. I haven't been on this app long but I'm sure your right. To be honest it seems like a lot of women on here are stuck up prudes. You can't really let loose and have some fun around here.
