YOU DO YOU, LADY!! I don't see "MD" after anyone's name. Do what you know is best for you!!!!!!!

@beebaby, well my son drinks 2 oz and more sometimes. If he's hungry I'm going to feed him and if that was "facts" my sons pediatrician and my lactation specialist would of stated those facts instead they showed me signs of overfeeding and we confirmed my son didn't experience any . He doesn't even spit up. So like I told the lady above I'll keep listening to my drs and specialist look up mgh Boston one if not the best hospital in the world I'm in good hands don't need any outside unprofessional help . No disrespect just facts

Ok 😊

@milky_mama2017, your still not getting my point . Like I've said several times already everyone's body is different. If they told you not to pump that's based on you body and how it reacted to it. If they told me to pump it's based on my body and the fact I need to make more milk than I was producing.

@miggysmommy0705 lol ok fine, i got the information i was giving from a lactation specialist i wouldn't just be speaking about something if i didn't know i dont do that
Elie TruМама сына-младенца
@milky_mama2017, like I said everyone's body is different. I'm most definitely going to listen to my lactation specialist than a first time mom on a social site

OK you'll understand in a few weeks why i said what i said
Elie TruМама сына-младенца
@babyveach, yes same here. I guess some people just don't understand how everyone's bodies are different
Elie TruМама сына-младенца
@milky_mama2017, my lactation specialist has given me various and great reasons to pump especially since I will be working after the 3 month mark & my two week old eats or should I say drinks like a 2 month old. Everyone is different I didn't produce enough at first and my baby was always hungry had to supplement with formula now I have back up in the fridge and can give him pumped milk when my boobs are dryed out

@babyveach well they shouldnt have, they did the same thing to me and ive dealt with extreme over supply i was exclusively pumping for 3 months straight only because my son was in the nicu... pumping causes so many problems ... you only pump if its absolutely necessary

@milky_mama2017 when I had my son the encouraged me to pump at the hospital.

@babyveach yes it is too early to pump any pumping before 4 to 6 weeks can cause massive over supply due to the fact her milk isnt regulated yet, if she's nursing she should nurse on demand and anything extra she should hand express into a cup or something and her supply will be great..... @beebaby

It's never too early to pump. It keeps your milk supply up. @milky_mama2017
