40w and 5d. I'm scheduled to be induced Sunday at 6pm. I'm so scared. My hubby tries to understand, but he can't. I have done a lot of research so I know what is going to happen I just need somebody to talk to just to set my mind at ease. I just want my baby girl as healthy as possible

@shellbell0391 were the contractions much worse than normal? I'm trying to have as natural of a birth as possible

I was induced for my first...if all goes well...all they do is insert something to thin out your cervix. Not painful at all. They also hook you up to an IV where they give you petossin. That brings on the contractions. This is still considered natural if you don't have the epidural.

@snp6687 I've read on a few different searches that the pitocin makes the contraction considerably worse than without it. Would you agree with that?
