Have anyone took stadol during labor and delivery

I did my first induction. It made me feel a little loopy so i only did one round then eventually opted for an epidural

@bethann87 was it still painful getting stadol and how was the baby did it male the baby loopy

@ariachannell i will do it when my doctor says its necessary. Still have to do a hospital tour too. Im thinking it will be done or mentioned around 35 weeks.

@ariachannell the pain eventually got bad and then I did the epidural. I was on pitocin being induced at the same time which some claim makes pain worse which is why I started with stadol earlier in labor then stopped it, had the epidural a couple hours later. Baby was just fine. I was only in labor 6 hours right after they did epidural I delivered(could still move leg but didn't feel anything but pressure while pushing) i should also mention stadol is a narcotic and I am in recovery from narcotic abuse as teen so I may have been overly sensitive and really didn't want delivery experience associated with getting high
