@heatherpuhl2014, the date I had picked was September 10. After Labor Day and I'd be about 32 weeks so I still felt that gave me enough time to still go shopping and organize.

I am also do in November and I am planning my own baby shower also. When is it a good time to do a baby shower I don't want to wait to long where I can't enjoy it but don't want it to soon either.

@db413, thank you for that! I know "you're not supposed to do your own", but this is our miracle baby after two miscarriages and I would like to celebrate her! I've also thought about forgetting the whole thing, but there's a lot of things to buy!! 😂😂😱

I planned my own baby shower. I hate surprises and this being my first kid I wanted it to be just how I envisioned it. Everyone said I can't do my own, got into fights with my sister and best friend and at one point cancelled even having a baby shower all together. But I planned it and it's in 2 weeks! I say go for it
