Braxton hicks aren't consistent are they?! Painful to the point I have to get up and walk or sit on the toilet... can't sleep and feel like I have to poop but can't.. I don't want to go to the hospital for false labor and be sent home. Please someone help me.

@infamousmama_, oh lord that one thing I don't miss, an the fact I'm doing it second time. Good luck love, you'll be meeting your little boy soon. An i use sit in a chair and slide down the end every time I got contractions or squeeze somebody hand but by the time i got 5 cm. I gave up on natural birth
@ecahanes, thanks mama. They said early labor, gave me something to keep me comfortable and help me sleep and sent me home.
@h_mother0322, I can tell the difference now. The nurse explained it to me. I'm having real conversations.. they don't ease up and I can't move or even sit on my butt when I get them.
@brayonnsmommy, they don't lesson or go away when I move. They stop me in my tracks and I can hardly move at all.
@juliaschade41, they're consistent. But I went to the hospital and I'm only dilated to a 2. They gave me something to help me sleep and ease the contractions and sent me home to rest.
Just remember if you go in before you are five minutes apart but considered early labor they might send you home or keep you and if they keep you it makes it a very long labor
That sounds like early labor. Follow the 4-1-1 rule. 4 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute, for at least 1 hr or go in when you can no longer walk or talk through them. Good luck. I hope this is it for you.
In the hospital currently in early labor. Go in.
You wouldn't know if your having contractions or not if you've been having a lot Braxton hicks leading up to this point. I ended up doing my regular routine at 40 weeks with my son, thinking I'm having Braxton hicks. 5 hours later they start getting consistent then when they begun to be 5 minutes apart. I went to the hospital to find out I started having real contractions at 5am in the morning just didn't know because I thought they was Braxton hicks. I didn't go to hospital till 10am so I was babysitting my god son & cooking and cleaning while in labor.
How far apart? Wait until at least 5 minutes apart since it's your first
I saw my doctor yesterday and she said that BH contractions are not consistent, and if you can move or adjust and they lessen or go away altogether then that's false labor . Contractions don't lessen they only get stronger and closer together .
