Omg! It wasn't a pleasant experience for none of you. A good caring doc would have tried playing with her. Or have grasp oh I have walked in and out 3xs. Maybe its me that's getting the child heated up. And how long after getting home did your BP stabilizied?

@lana30319, well my toddler is terrified of the doctor... so it's like they would get her worked up then leave the room so she'd calm down... come back get her worked up again, then leave again... 🙄🤦‍♀️ I was like just come in, get the shit all done at once... I'll hold her, just get everything done as quick as possible! Then she can just relax! 😥 but for whatever reason they just kept drawing it out!! My BP is still high from having the baby... and yesterday before bed it was still close to the scary high line! I seriously think it was from all the stress of that appointment

Dang! I would be worn out to. Did they have the courtesy to inform you that or why its taking so long. Its not like your child has a brand new case that the medical field don't know about. Regular check up should be under 40 min.

@lana30319, like we were in the room with the nurse and doctor coming in and out for the whole time... one would come in do 1 thing then leave for 10 minutes, come back do something else, then leave again for a few minutes! It was crazy!

Girl hang in there! I could understand if you were a walk on. But you had an appointment! That's some BS! I only recall years ago here in Atlanta folks waiting in the ER at Grady memorial hospital had to wait 2 hours sometimes before getting seen.
