So this isn't the first time this has happened but this time it was kind of different. I laid my son down flat on my bed to put his clothes on after his bath and he started acting like he couldn't breath then the spit up came out of his nose and he still acted like he couldn't breath for a few seconds. He's breathing fine now. Has this happened to anyone else? Could he have aspirated and should I take him to the dr tomorrow?
My son showed similar symptoms as early as a couple of days after he was born. Scared the beejesus out of me. His pediatrician finally ordered some upper GI studies and they showed that he had severe gastric reflux. She put him on Ranitidine. He is doing much better now. She also recommended that I fed him less food more often and to keep him upright 30-45 minutes after each feeding. Consult his pediatrician ASAP to make sure it's not something more serious.
Sounds like acid reflux
