I hope to see it gone in my lifetime. It shouldn't be okay to alter anyone's body without their consent. No ifs ands or buts.

The FACTS are that circumcision is purely cosmetic. There are no health benefits whatsoever. That's his penis so he should decide when he's older what he wants to do with it. Bodily autonomy. I could go on and on about the benefits of keeping the foreskin intact, but people who have their mind made up typically don't care about facts. I'm with you @sims.krista it's barbaric and mutilating. 👍🏻my boys are intact.

@ashley1994 you can believe all you want that it's cleaner but it's literally been proven that it's not . also I'm not judging anyone . I don't do that . I'm jus here with opinions & many facts about it .

@ashley1994 it's definitely the parents choice but I wish more people were educated about it & why it REALLY started . which was because they believed it would stop boys from masturbating . & they thought it was cleaner but it's been proven it isn't .

@drmurphy13 you know thats not true right .... not being circumcised doesnt make you more likely to get infections . being circumcised isn't cleaner .

I disagree, I did it for both my boys so it's less likely to get infections in their future

I agree they should definitely do away with it. I think more parents do it for "cosmetic" reasons though.

@mommysbabies abortion is sometimes medically necessary & theyre trying to get rid of that .
