I wish the circumcision procedure didn't exist .

Sometimes it's medically necessary so they won't get rid of it

I agree they should definitely do away with it. I think more parents do it for "cosmetic" reasons though.

I disagree, I did it for both my boys so it's less likely to get infections in their future

@drmurphy13 you know thats not true right .... not being circumcised doesnt make you more likely to get infections . being circumcised isn't cleaner .

@ashley1994 it's definitely the parents choice but I wish more people were educated about it & why it REALLY started . which was because they believed it would stop boys from masturbating . & they thought it was cleaner but it's been proven it isn't .

The FACTS are that circumcision is purely cosmetic. There are no health benefits whatsoever. That's his penis so he should decide when he's older what he wants to do with it. Bodily autonomy. I could go on and on about the benefits of keeping the foreskin intact, but people who have their mind made up typically don't care about facts. I'm with you @sims.krista it's barbaric and mutilating. 👍🏻my boys are intact.

I hope to see it gone in my lifetime. It shouldn't be okay to alter anyone's body without their consent. No ifs ands or buts.
