Had anyone had a cyst on their ovary? Mine is hurting like someone is squeezing it and it’s cramping so bad. What can I do to relieve it?
@megbaby07, after your ultrasound your going to have another one in 2 months I think to measure the size, if it's not getting smaller, or it's getting larger, they'll remove it
@nerualauren, how do they when it’s time to surgically remove it?
@nerualauren, well I knew I had one when I was pregnant but they said it wasn’t big so not to worry but when I went last time I told her I was having cramping constantly over there and she checked and seen that it hurt and scheduled for an ultrasound. I didn’t even do anything to bring on the pain earlier I had no idea what happened!
If you lift anything heavy, maybe your daughter for example, and if you bend certain ways you'll definitely all contract the pain. Try not to move lol
I had one not too long for years. Mine was 15cm, meaning it was hugeeeeee! I didn't really have any pain so the doctors didn't push me to do anything about it until I found I was pregnant. It goes away on its own, or you have to surgically remove it. Doctors didn't want to do surgery on me since I'm pregnant, so what they did was extract all the liquid that was in the cyst and it deflated and now it's like it's not even there, although still need to remove the tissue after I deliver.
No problem hopefully they go away soon
@mommysbabies, thank you! The bath helped tremendously for a bit
@nomaci, oh my! I took a bath and it relieve it a lot but now it’s beginning to hurt again. ☹️ I’m hoping I can manage until next Thursday
@megbaby07, I had terrible waves of pain from that side, which got worse, my whole body ached like the flu, and nausea hit a few hours later. It hurt so badly to move my abdomen, too. It probably felt like appendicitis would feel.
The doctor told me that when a cyst bursts, the fluid inside is released into your body, causing you to feel miserable all over.
@mommysbabies, they gave me birth control pills for spotting to help balance out the hormones from my mirena, my doctors said it should help
I had one that wasn't too painful in the beginning when it was small, usually just mild cramps, until it got bigger and burst. That was a terrible few days. They gave me morphine in the ER and then a pain prescription to take home.
Yeah are you on the pill they told me that helps with them I get functional ones so eventually they go away I just deal with it but my aunt had to have hers removed
@mommysbabies, I have an ultrasound next week for them to look at it
@mommysbabies, omg I seriously want to cry. It’s making me feel sick 😭 I’m going to try a bath when my daughter takes a nap.
Heating pad Tylenol bath unfortunately not much I have had one that hurt so bad I couldn't walk down stairs or even open doors I went to hospital and they gave me morphine I had five doses and slept for two days and then sent me with a stronger pain reliever than Tylenol
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
I wish i had a friend to go with me to the tattoo studio later
to young for you bro...
Haven't had one of these in awhile so.... go!
