Little man latches now which is great, but my supply isn't very high and he's so used to the milk coming from the bottle that he's just kind of nuzzling and using me as a paci sometimes. Love the bonding but wish we didn't have to use formula 😞😔

@nicoclev, have you tried speaking with a lactation consultant? This is info I've learned from lactation consultants, if it were me I would cut out the formula and let baby adjust to the change I know some doctors will scare parents into formula when it's not necessary and some aren't fit to give breastfeeding advice which is why lactation consultants can be so helpful. The bonding is beautiful and breastfeeding is such a wonderful experience I hope all this helps and you get these issues solved!
@avahcruz we do pace feed. I think the pedi traumatized me at his 2 day visit. He was dehydrated so she had me start the formula or she was going to have him hospitalized. Now when he's hungry and is fighting to get away from me bc he wants the formula it breaks my heart it's so disheartening.
I'm probably blowing up your notifications lol but I hope all this helps! You don't need to use formula trust your body to do it's thing. There was a point in time where bottles or formula didn't exist and breast feeding was the only option there shouldn't be so many women with a low supply or needing to supplement your body knows what to do
Also breast fed babies don't always just eat and are satisfied they use the breast for a lot of different things, nursing frequently is very normal sometimes my son will eat every 2 hours sometimes every 10 minutes it just depends if he's growing, tired, thirsty, in pain, etc.
Do you pace feed? Babies will prefer a bottle if they don't have to work for the milk in it that may be why you're having problems switching from breast to bottle...I guarantee if you cut formula and feed on demand your supply will be great!
@avahcruz he gets formula though. And when he nurses he pulls away because he is still hungry 😔
Pumping doesn't indicate how much you produce. I get literally nothing from a pump probably 1/5 of an ounce lol if baby has pee and poo diapers your supply is fine.
An ounce is average 😊 was always lucky to get an ounce. They get more at the boob themselves.
@mommysbabies I pump every time I feed him we've been trying the triple feeding, and I even tried power pumping. I have a Medela and I have the hospital grade pump on rental and the Medela actually feels like stronger suction to me
Hum do you pump every two hours what pump did you have I had the mendela one and I feel like the suction on it was lacking
@mommysbabies I have been, the problem is I've never been able to get more than an ounce and a half during a session. I really only produce about 4 oz a day
Try pumping it should help bring supply back up

Does anyone have issues with huggies diapers as far as rashes? We used to use pampers but they seemed to leak a lot. Since he's been using huggies I see an increase in rashes...just wondering if anyone else experienced this.
Lefty or Righty
I think my son is a lefty. He's a month and a week and grabs with his left hand. He rarely uses his right.
