Curious as to how you guys spent the day before your induction. ☺ Did you do anything special?

I went to a friends house... then that morning I got a call at 5 am saying induction is canceled.. waited 3 days and constant calling before they let me finally get induced lol

Slept and went out to eat

@kylesmom16, I'd be so upset! Especially since I've spent my day cleaning my entire freaking house. 😒

I spent all day worrying that i didn't have everything situated! I kept rubbing my belly asking myself if she was even big enough yet (I was 37 weeks) lmao.. But they called me at 9am and told me to be there by 3pm so it wasn't planned in advanced which is why I was probably freaking out! Lmao.. had it been planned I would have probably spent the day relaxing, knowing what I know now!

@tayler, May I ask why they induced you at 37 weeks?

@msavage9 Of course! My blood pressure had been high my last few visits leading up to 37 weeks, they also found protein in my urine so they had me take home a 24 hour urine jug! I returned it full of urine and one day later that's when she called me at 9am, she said the levels of protein in my urine were way too high, she said I had preeclampsia and I needed to come in to be induced no later than 3pm!

@tayler, How long did your labor last?

@msavage9 Literally only 6 hours!! And I pushed 15 mins! I couldn't believe it! Most of my first time mom friends were in labor 12 hours or more! Idk if it was caused from induction or not, but being induced was actually nice, i kind of hope I'm induced with this one too!

@tayler, Lucky duck! I'm SO hoping mine is relatively quick. My OB says I'm dilated to 3cm and I'm "favorable" so hopefully I'm just as lucky as you! Lol.

@tayler, Did you get the epidural?

@msavage9 I have no idea how it happened really lol.. I was shocked! But the fact that you're already dilated definitely helps!!! I bet you're so excited 😊😊 Not much longer!!

I definitely got the epidural. My plan was i wasn't going to, but the contractions were pretty bad and I caved 😔

@tayler, Oh, yes! Very! Nervous, but ready to just get it over and done with so I can meet him finally. ☺️💙

@tayler, I've been planning on no epidural but I'm open to changing my mind.

@msavage9 I'm going to try no epidural this time around again! I think if you really set your mind to it, then it can definitely be done! I was younger then, 17, and I didn't do much focusing or breathing I just instantly caved! Congrats on baby boy!! I want a little boy oh so badly! I'm gonna have to try again in 2 years or so lmao..
