So, I really think my fiancé and I should go to couples counseling, but he's completely against the idea. I try so hard to try and fix things, but it doesn't seem to help anything. Should I just forget trying to get him to go?

So I need advice. My mom's birthday is today and I haven't talked to her in months. She one of the most difficult people to deal with. I'm wondering of I should go see her or just opt out? And if I do go I don't want to go by myself, I'm trying to get my SO to go but he doesn't want to go either. What should I or can I do?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Trying to make a man do something like that is impossible most of the times. I just say pray that things get better. My husband never wanted to go to counseling, and the more i pushed the more he pushed back. I just stopped trying to force him and I focused on things I could do to make things better. I'm not sure what your beliefs are, but there is a book called "The power of a Praying wife" I think you should read it. Even if you guys aren't married yet, I really think it could help. It helped me a lot, especially when I was ready to give up
