I had 3 during labour as the first one didn't work.. . The second only went down one half of my body and the 3rd well that made me lose all feeling completely.
I couldn't even feel when to push or even where to push which I was abit gutted about but the huge amount of stitches I had afterwards I'm very very thankful for the epidural.
I'd say they are fairly safe if I had 3 in one go!!... the only after effect was it took a while to be able to walk again afterwards... a while as in... 5 hours or so.
Xx
It was the best thing I ever did. I was in so much pain from my induction and I was begging for one literally. In that moment I didn't care about risks but when you're there in the moment you'll know what's best for you x
Thank you ladies for your advise ❤
I am hoping to have a normal delivery if everything goes well...but worried about this epidural should I have it or other types of pain reliefs..
Like @xxxzenixxx said there's risks to everything but your midwife will go through all the risks with you, when I went for 34 week appointment she spoke through all the risks of different pain relief etc.. my mum and sister both had epidural and they are fine xx
Hey hun x everything has a risk x i had an epidural once for c-section x and both times in my other pregnancies x i was advised from the doctor to have it done x i suffer from back pains every since x but since I've started working out x they aren't that bad anymore x
