My family didn't agree on my sons name either. His name is Noah Kai, it was mainly his middle name its not a common American name but it does mean ocean in the U.S. My aunt also tried telling me "you should name him skylar, you're gonna name him skylar i like that name!" Im like umm no? He's my kid we already have a name picked out. Me and my sons dad had a deal, he got to name him but we had to agree on the name. We like his name so go shove your name up one 😐😂 i was not about to let ANYONE have any influence on what we named our baby lol

Omg yes! We wanted to name our girl Madeleine, and everyone was like "ugh really? Why not something else?" And my response was always "I'm sorry. I must have forgotten she's coming out of you, and not me." I'm so mean and blunt about it lmao

They have no say, let them be mad thats your baby

I made up my first son's name.. people didn't really like it but it didn't matter what they thought. Just remember the name needs to flow, and be easy to say quickly or slowly, and hopefully people will get used to it over time. Ultimately it's your decision.

@arcsmomma they are trying to pick names out but all the names are super plain and girly. They didn't like Kennedy or Presley either

@dreamermom the name I picked out is Brexley Louise Hawley. I think it's pretty and unique but my aunt and grandma think it's just horrible

@morganjess29 my dad told me my daughter's name is a "decent" name. I was like well too bad. I ran the names I had picked out by him and I decided on Audriana Rose and he called it decent.. Lol it was almost Jamie Leanne.
