Mommies that have taken mediformin to regulate periods did you have any symptoms of the medication?

I have been on it for 4 days now and been feeling a little sick to my stomach and lightheaded. However I called about my he lightheadedness and that was because I wasn't drinking nor eating enough. I'm going to keep taking it. Was just wondering if any of you experienced side effects from it?
