How much does everyone normally pay hourly for a babysitter? Does the sitter make the price or do you? Grandma normally always watches my son so I've never had to get a babysitter.
When I was a nanny I would always let the parent decide how much they were willing to pay and if it was too low I would say something. Most of the time I wouldn't go lower than $11 an hour.
I pay $10 an hour, minimum of 4 hours. We negotiated but when I was looking it was $10-$15 an hour.
I think the sitter usually has a rate but not positive. I'm a SAHM so i never had a sitter before(other than my mom)
