Hi ladies..so yesterday I went in for a free ultrasound at a local clinic..they were very nice btw..anywho the ultrasound tech said that it was hard to see my baby because there wasn't enough amniotic fluid..she said since she's not a Dr she shouldn't really say but she thought it be a good idea to try and see my Dr before the 20th which is when my appt is..the thing is I always hear "it's hard to see because of ur c-section scars" but never"low fluid" ..could that be what happened? That she could not see cuz of the scars? I have been having really bad morning sickness and nausea for about 2 months now😥 could that also be the reason for low fluid? Just need some advice other than going to Dr's..I plan on going in as soon as my love gets home from work..if any of u experienced something similar can u plz share what happened..thanks ladies stay cool😊

Some ultrasound techs are only trained to use the machine. They dont have medical training so theyre just guessing. Sometimes having a full or empty bladder makes a difference. Your doc will know for sure! Just mention that you had one in case they dont check at your appt

Thyroid ultrasound. I went in for my physical today and the dr checked my thyroid. She seemed off when she was checking it and checked it over and over. I have hypothyroid and I'm taking me my meds. I did mention I thought it was low but nothing much. Well she left the room and came. Ack in and said she wanted me to get a thyroid ultrasound as soon as possible because it was pretty enlarged. Has anyone had this done before? What do they look for?
