I did it because it got to a point where my son would cry unless someome was holding him and we knew it was because no one was holding him and we weren't going to have him in our arms 247. It also helped him get use to being with over people. Anytime my cousins or friend would hold him he would scream and I would let him to show him mommy or daddy cant always hold you or be around.

My baby girl will cry all day unless someone is holding her it gets to the point where I can't get anything done.. I do pick her up but I hope this is just a stage

I do it because my son will cry no matter what when he's fighting his sleep nothing you do will make him stop screaming unless you lay him in his crib and let him cry for a minute or two then he's out

I understand where some parents let their children cry it out but I don't. I mean I have before don't get me wrong but my daughter is way past that stage and my son I usually just put him in his baby carrier and carry him around while I'm doing stuff around the house, if he won't let me put him down and I just figured out a way to breast feed him while he is in his carrier which is a ➕!

I tried letting my son cry it out twice and it broke my heart. I was getting so much advice and reading different articles. They said try it and if it is not for you then try something else. I chose not to let my son cry it out but to each his own.

My son overreacts so if I let him cry it out then he will get hysterical and I just can't stand to see him cry like that lol it breaks my heart because ik all he wants is my attention lol

I feel like one day my son will be older and doing his own thing so right now while I'm able to give him all my attention I will do that. To me it's all about caring for his needs and at the time he needs my attention.

Agreed! Even if they're five. It's just our style of parenting. We want to be loving to our children which will teach them to love and embrace and eventually be independent. We don't want them to feel abandoned. I don't say anything on CIO though because people get butt hurt.

I definitely do not believe that a baby could ever be spoiled.

Depends on age lok. A newborn no deff don't like him cry it out but if that child is 1 and older crying out method is most deff okay at bedtime

@caseysmommy92, my daughter 1 and I cannot stand to hear her cry. It's sad.

It is sad. But it only takes two days tops to get them in the habit of sleeping all night and by them selfs. I only did it at nights and every since he sleeps all night in his own room and crib. I knew I had to do somethng because he was waking up every 2 hours and I didn't want a 3 year old sleeping in my bed everynight lol @sabreycastro1996
