TMI WARNING but how soon after starting to lose your mucus plug do labor start? I've had no signs…

It can be a couple of hours or it can be one to two weeks. The mucus plug will be a lot and if you just lost a little, it's probably coming out in small chunks. Mine has been coming out for a few days now but had a massive amount come out today. I am now contracting

@2-mommies I'm hoping it's sooner than later. I'm actually pretty excited haha. I never went through actual labor before. I was induced with my daughter because of high bp. So pitocin contractions was my labor. Didn't have my water break or none of that. I'm excited to experience it for the first time!

@aubrieandaliviasmommy do you have an exercise ball? If so, bounce on it. I think that's what helped a lot of my plug come out

@2-mommies no. But I could get one. Someone told me today that hot baths and driving down bumpy roads helps Kickstart labor too 😂

@aubrieandaliviasmommy I would avoid a hot bath and a bumpy road won't do too much. My midwife suggested inserting evening primrose oil

@aubrieandaliviasmommy really it's all chance. If baby is ready baby will come. When one of these old wives tales work it's coincidence

@aubrieandaliviasmommy, definitely avoid hot baths! And the bumpy road thing is a facade lol.

I'd say just walk a lot. You'll eventually start feeling pressure in your vagina. (Not literally but the area where baby's head would be)
