Polycistic ovarian syndrome. Hormones are out of whack, can cause irregular periods. Would be worth asking for a blood test

Breastfeeding can throw off your cycle big time. So your body is probably regulating, and if your taking birth control that could effect it too.

I'm in the same boat as you. Your period will come back but it will be irregular. But still go ahead and get checked.
