Anyone wanna share induction experience im nervous and dont know what to expect like when they start iv how bad pain is.
Good luck! You will do an amazing job 👍🏾 I know everybody is different but it wasn't bad for me at all. I was able to breathe through the contractions and once I relaxed through them they weren't so bad, even after the pitocin. Then I got the epidural and literally felt nothing else. Even when pushing I barely felt it. It was very quick and painless for me thankfully but just remember to relax and that YOU GOT THIS!
I'm gonna do it i just pay I'm already in labor when I go tomorrow morning I want my baby to pick her bday lol like my other 3 did
@leann.harris I was told to do it at a birthing class I took but I thought it was stupid.. like how's a smell gana help when your in agony... but I'm telling you it was almost like night and day when I smelt my parents I was still in pain but it was like a switch went off in my head that was like I was more focused on the smell then I was the pain
@familyislife121417, I wish I would've known that trick, I was to angry to smell anything! And all I could think of was how hungry I was lol
@lilly_mom_of_4, I live like 5 minutes from fort, they are a good hospital too , my siblings were all born there
@lilly_mom_of_4 it was especially for your first... I do remember though threw all that pain.. when my dad and step mom walked in the room I could smell them from across the room they smelled amazing like smelling a bottle of detergent!! And it kinda calmed me some.... so I suggest b4 you go in have something with your favorite sent to bring with you... like I plan on washing a small blanket and putting it in a zip lock so I can keep the sent fresh to smell during labor this time
I got induced three times and two out of three times was excruciatingly painful even with epidural
@leann.harris I'm going to be at fort my doctors dont deliver at mercy anymore :/
I was induced with my son... they broke my water to get it started and my contractions started almost emediently after! I had mack labor and my contractions were almost back to back the whole time... took almost all day to dilate all the way (I had no epidural just medication threw iv and it stops working after the first few cm) I pushed for an hour for them to say he's turned the wrong way... get on bed on hands and knees and sway to get him to turn... during that process the deb brakes and I fall lucky landing on my feet... they have me try to push a little more then I was told I needed emergency c section ( witch was very scary)
@lilly_mom_of_4, which hospital are you delivering at? I went to mercy Fairfield and they did amazing with mine, I felt small constructions at first but opted to get my epidural about 4cm just because I'm a wuss and can't handle pain, after that they started pitpcin about 7cm and it took me about 4 hours after to have her . Just breath and trust the doctors, if you are uncomfortable or have a worry don't hesitate to ask or speak up! I made a poor nurse hold my hand while laboring . Lol
Hope mines go smoothly I keep wishing I go in labor myself like I did with my other 3 but this baby is my stubborn girl lol she will be coming tomorrow regardless lol
I got an epidural so that I didnt go through all the pain id heard about. When i looked at the contraction monitor the contractions didnt let up. Constant pain (without epidural) im assuming. But I was blessed to feel no pain up to 7 cm when I was started on pitocin. My labor was soooo easy.
@lilly_mom_of_4, sweet 😍😍
