@ashleydunn He doesn't have reflux or gas now, but it was severe when he was smaller. I'm fine with doing whatever, but if it's not necessary, I don't want to have my child go through that.

@sarisings, I mean you can but if you aren't having problems breastfeeding and baby isn't super gassy or have reflux then I wouldn't even mention it. You can see a pediatric dentist that specializes in lip

Most kids rip their lip ties. My oldest did. My youngest has one and I'm just leaving it alone because it doesn't cause any issues
