Hello beautiful ladies! Has anyone else ever been diagnosed with partial previa. Dr. told me last week at my 17th week visit and to not partake in any sex. He didn't seem concerned. I'm still very worried. I've had no bleeding nor spotting but scared.

I had placenta previa. And by my 3rd trimester it moved! So don't worry plenty of time for it to move. But I was recommended to definitely not have any sex when I had the previa, which I'm sure they told you.

Also, did u have any symptoms? spotting? Or anything else?

No symptoms I didn't know until I went to the hospital for having some cramping and they told me. They said it was very normal. And it could of moved before then but I didn't have another ultra sound until I moved and my new midwife wanted to check and see. But just don't have sex or do anything to strenuous and you should be ok. If it doesn't move you'll just have to have a csection is all.

Um I had an OB until I moved with my ex right before I hit my third trimester then 2 weeks before my son was born I moved back home and back to my OB. The midwife I had was nice and they definitely have some different practices than OBs I guess it's just up to you. I saw a midwife cause that was what was available to me. If I was going to have to have a csection then she was going to send me to the OB in her office.

My OB didn't even deliver my child! He came to the hospital after he was done working and set me up on some things and of course was in contact with the nurses through out my labor but the on call OB delivered my son.

Yeah I wasn't thrilled because I had the gyno when I was in college and he messed up a procedure I had done and his bed side manner sucks but he did what he was suppose to for my delivery. And my OB came to the hospital later that morning to check on me. I guess it depends on your birth plan and hospital you use.

The nurses were amazing in the labor and delivery unit though and those are the people who are by your side the whole time!
