Hey I need some suggestions. I was going to get the arm implant. I'm scheduled to get it on Aug 11th. But I was talking to my mom's friend yesterday and she said every single person she knew who got the arm implant, when they tried to get pregnant again they either had a miscarriage or a stillborn. I really don't want to go through that if I can avoid it. So what kind of birth control is best? I don't want to have another baby for atleast 3 to 5 years. I don't know what I should do.

I had it 3 times. First 2 times for 3 years and the 3rd one for 2 years... I got pregnant with my son after the second 3 years... About 6 months after i took it out but we wasnt really trying. The 3rd time. I had it in for 2 years. But took it out to try and concieve again.. Got pregnant again but it didnt grow. But that had nothing to do with the implant.. It was twins that stayed one egg and didnt grow and didnt split after 4 weeks. That was 2 years after i took the implant out... We are trying again and after this baby ill either get it again or get fixed. Not sure yet as im not in the position to be on birthcontrol.. I myself really loved the implant. I personally never had any issues on it. ..

I love my IUD.... lots of people don't like them though.

I had the implant for 3 years got it out in September got pregnant in November and now I'm 34weeks pregnant and I know plenty of other girls that had healthy pregnancy's after getting it removed

I had the immolation for just under 3 years took it out and got pregnant a month later. Andi had it placed in again on June 12th this time I have had some funny feelings but nothing major.

After implant removal it's really easy to get pregnant again because fertility goes back to normal right away. Miscarriage and stillborn happen for unknown reasons. Did their Drs say it was specifically because they used the implant previously?
