I'm not sure how long after insertion symptoms could show up... but in that case it could be weight gain caused by the alcohol hints the saying beer belly lol.... but maybe try testing and talk to your doctor about it if you are really concerned

@lovinmommy51 that's the thing tho I've been on it since November-december would side effects really be showing 7 months later? Plus a lot...and I mean a LOT, of alcohol has been consumed since right before I've noticed anything

There is a chance to get pregnant on any birth control that's why they won't guarantee them 100% only 99%.... but yes there is a chance I personally know people who have gotten pregnant while using it
