Ladies, I have a question about your dr/ob/midwife writing you a sick leave note to go on sick leave prior to maternity. Here's my story I've been bleeding everytime I work & I assume it's just getting too physical for me as it stopped since I've been off. I work in the laundry Dept at our hospital so it's standing all day plus lifting, pushing, pulling 40 pound bags & carts, I'm currently 29 weeks tomorrow. I'm also exposed to chemicals daily... I'm very worried she won't sign me off but all my mom friends assured me they will as i paid into it & have valid reasoning. I have my apt today, what yall think & if you've ever gone through this? Thanks

As long as you fully explain the issues and inform them of your concerns you I don't think they will have a problem signing a early maternity leave / bed rest / risk leave form.
