Got a call from the doc office telling me they scheduled an induction for the 24th! I'll be 41w+ I'm so upset. Don't knw what to do. My mom is here from all the way Africa for just 6 weeks and now I'm gonna waste 2 weeks just sitting around waiting to be induced. She came so she can help me with the baby for as long as she can but she's been here a week already. So that's gonna be 3 wasted weeks of her just waiting for baby then she'll be gone and I'll be left alone with 2 kids. Last baby I got induced at my 40wk appointment. So pissed.

Wow. That's crazy girl . There's no way you can speak to the doctor himself.
@mommabear10124 I did and the girl on the phone told me that's when the doctor wants you to be induced and there's nothing she can do about it!! She had an attitude too.
Girl I would be calling them back and telling them to induce at my 40 week exact mark . It can be dangerous for a baby to be in there any longer I had a friend and her doctor made her wait the extra week and her baby ended up dying in the womb because the baby was in there for to long.

UPDATE: Well i wemt back to doctor still at 5cm was sent back home my doctor said i havent dilated anymore so she said thats a good thing and she said she wanna induce me but she didnt because im 36 weeks so im dealing with pain until i hit 40 weeks witch i really hate but she also said if baby comes shes not gonna stop it so im just playing the waiting game while having contractions and still scard ima go in labor at home!!!!

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!

Finally, after nearly FORTY-TWO weeks... I decided to get induced. Baby Violet scared me with some decreased fetal movement and I couldn't wait any longer.
