Been at the hospital almost 24 hrs. My doctor decided my amniotic fluid was low when checking my baby's size via ultrasound (38 weeks, 7.5 lbs, 60th percentile, up from the 39th percentile 3 weeks ago) and sent me to the hospital to be induced. I suspect I was just dehydrated...

Pitocin isn't as intense as I expected, I already spent 12 hrs with the suppository to induce, then started IV pitocin 5 hours ago. Contractions seemed stronger for about an hour, but either died down or my body got used to them hours ago. Wondering how long it will take to get into active labor, or even dilate.
