@katiesmiles1 awe tell me more. And are you on a birth control method currently?
It didn't work well for me ether I had it removed and even the removal process was a night mare , it's not for everyone
It's worked well for me! Some people it doesn't work well, just like all forms of BC.
Pills aren't good for me, I forget to take them the depo shot left me feeling like shit every time I had to get it, and even with taking calcium pills, my bone density was going to shit.
I'm not a fan of the IUD, as when it goes wrong, it can go severely wrong. Also I'm small there, my husband isn't, he'd be able to feel it and it would most likely be uncomfortable for us both. (This is why you ask your doctor about this, my doc didn't recommend it after talking to her about that)
@lindseygirl92272 I'm sorry it didn't work for you.
@mluvs7 Lindseys reaction to it is rare, and it doesn't work for her. Again, everyone is different.
I've always had a great experience with it. It's 100% my preferred BC method. Plus it's kinda fun to mess with people when they do ask, have them touch it... it freaks them out.
I bled for 6 months straight everyday like a super heavy period. It almost ruined my relationship because I wasnt able to have sex with my husband and I was always tired from losing so much blood. Then my doctor didn't want to remove it so I found someone else who would and during removal it was too deep in my skin and I had yo be sent over to the hospital to get it removed.
@mermaidmeshy did you have a good or bad experience? I'm nervous
Is it the nexplanon? I had the worse experience with it :(
I have it, have had it for several years before I got pregnant. (And I got pregnant right away)
If you have any questions about how it's done, please ask!
Short gist of how it works, they numb you, and it goes in just under your skin. It doesn't move, you'll keep a bandage on for 24 hours. And smaller bandages on for 72. You might bruise, but it's nothing.
Suppose to last 3 years I haven't been on birth control for 12 years 😬
How does that work?? I've been wanting to go in and get an IUD but I hear so many stories😭
Oh my thanks for sharing ...I hope it heals quick.
