Anyone took cephlaxin to make sure they dont get a uti for the rest of their pregnancy?????

@amelia.22 iv taken it before with my first uti around 6 weeks and it is safe for pregnancy just not suppose to treat something thats not there. Then when u need it ur body will be immune to it and it won't work. Im so mad the doc prescribed me that . I didn't even fill script

@miriahlove I gotten cephlaxin and I currently had a uti. Their suppose to give you something that safe for your pregnancy.

@kambam my sister got a yeast infection from doing it. I really dont trust doctors. Smh

If you dont have one then I wouldn't. Just stay hydrated and try to prevent it naturally. My dog almost died taking that shit.

@amelia.22 a antibiotic. Iv only had 1 uti since pregnant and this er doc is truing to give me a antibiotic to take to make sure I dont get uti. But I know ITE bad to take antibiotics if u dont have an infection. Because it can actually cause one

I wouldn't recommend it. You can drink a couple oz pure cranberry everyday or the pills. Up your probiotics or try d-mannose supplement.
