I never once used a swaddle with my 6 kids. We got one free from the hospital and never used it. I just used receiving blankets. We did use some of those sleep sack blanket jammies for a while.

I'm pretty sure I have almost 30 swaddle & receiver blankets tbh & I've used about half of them already

Swaddling is like a comfort mechanism so my daughter even if she's nice and warm won't sleep unless she's swaddled

So, if I were you I'd buy a Weeks worth just to begin & buy more if you need any when she's here

@qxeenbreezy_, thanx! I have a couple different kinds so I'll just get more. I'm due in October so I'll need pajamas for the day/nights when she's not swaddled.

And I mean A LOT

I go through them & they're all over my place rn

I use them to swaddle & to clean up her spit up (which sometimes is a fountain) since I use them when I burp her

I only have 2 pairs of pajamas for her since where I'm at its Hot asf rn so I keep her naked in just diapers most days

The only time I put her in anything is when we go out & pajamas when we go on a night walk
